Sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, camera, outer wear, tackle, food and beverages. Morning charters in Southwest Florida can be chilly bring a light raincoat or long-sleeved fishing shirt. We provide tackle but anglers may bring their own. Inform us when booking if bringing your own tackle. NBCF provides water only — but charter customers are welcome to bring anything they would like to eat and drink. Spray sunscreen is not allowed on Naples Backcountry Fishing boats. Anglers may not stand or sit next to guides.

Boat Launch Locations

SOUTH — Charters departing to Everglades National Park, Naples, Ten Thousand Islands and Marco Island leave from Goodland at the iconic Stan’s Idle Hour, an Old Florida style gathering place famous for people watching, fresh seafood and cold drinks. Directions: Stan’s Idle Hour, 221 Goodland Drive West, Goodland, FL 34140. Take Hwy. 41 south to Hwy. 92. Travel over the Goodland Bridge and turn left immediately afterwards. Keep straight and Stan’s is approximately ½ mile on the left.

Keeping and Cooking What You Catch

Regulations dictate what anglers can and cannot keep as well as quantity. Our captains can advise you on how to cook what you catch.
